About Tri Up
Tri Up CIC is a newly established community interest company based in Sparkbrook, supporting communities across Birmingham. Our founders have lived and worked within diverse communities and bring more than 50 years of combined experience in community cohesion and grassroots engagement.
We understand the challenges that individuals and families can face, including economic hardship, isolation, poor mental health, social exclusion and limited access to positive opportunities. We also recognise the skills, strengths and potential that already exist within our communities.
We believe that people do not always need someone to tell them what they lack. Often, they need the right opportunity, encouragement and guidance to recognise their abilities, overcome barriers and fulfil their potential.
Through accessible activities, mentoring, wellbeing programmes, personal development and community support, Tri Up aims to build on these existing strengths and help create positive, lasting change.
Our work will be shaped by local needs and participant feedback. We will collaborate with residents, schools, services and community organisations to identify gaps, complement existing support and measure the difference we make through attendance, feedback and clear outcomes.
We aim to build long-term sustainability through strong local partnerships, responsible use of resources and a balanced mix of grant funding, commissioned work and affordable activities.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to improve health, wellbeing and social connection by creating safe, inclusive and accessible opportunities for children, young people, adults and families.
Through physical activity, mentoring, personal development and community support, we aim to empower people to build confidence and resilience, make positive choices and fulfil their potential.
We are particularly committed to reducing barriers for people affected by economic hardship, isolation, poor mental health, social exclusion, limited access to positive opportunities and other social and economic challenges.
We want to help create healthier, safer and more connected communities where people feel valued, supported and able to fulfil their potential.
Our ambition is for children, young people, adults and families to have access to positive opportunities that improve wellbeing, build confidence and resilience, strengthen relationships and enable them to play an active part in shaping their own futures and communities.
